Everything in the Flame Box 3D shop is a digital STL download — you buy the file, download it instantly, and 3D print it yourself at home. No shipping, no waiting.
How it works
- Buy the design — pay securely on flame-box.net.
- Download instantly — you receive the STL file(s) right after checkout (and by email).
- Print at home — slice the file and print on your FDM or resin printer.
What you receive
A print-ready .STL file (some jewelry designs are also casting-ready). No physical item is shipped. Files are for personal, non-commercial printing unless you add a commercial licence (below).
Printer & software compatibility
Our STL files work with any standard 3D printer — FDM (PLA, PETG) and resin — and any common slicer (Bambu Studio, Cura, PrusaSlicer, Lychee, Chitubox).
Printing tips
- A 0.16–0.20 mm layer height gives a clean finish on most pieces.
- Add supports for overhangs; lattice lamps usually print upright with 2–3 perimeters.
- Resin gives the crispest detail on small pieces like pendants, coasters and miniatures.
- For lamps and lanterns, use a cool LED bulb or flameless LED tealight — never a real flame.
Licence — personal vs commercial
Every design includes a personal-use licence (print for yourself and gifts). Want to sell the finished physical prints? Add the Commercial Print Licence once per design. Reselling or sharing the STL file itself is not permitted.
Refunds
Because files are delivered instantly, digital downloads are generally non-refundable once downloaded. If a file won't open or print correctly, contact us — we'll make it right.
