You can turn a resin STL into real metal jewelry through lost-wax casting. Here's the beginner path.
1. Choose a casting-ready file
Start with designs built for casting, like the Filigree Sphere Pendant or the Organic Cuff Bracelet.
2. Print in castable resin
Use a castable / burnout resin on an LCD or DLP resin printer. Print small, with fine layers (0.03–0.05 mm) for crisp detail.
3. Add sprues & invest
Attach sprues, set the print in investment plaster, and burn out the resin in a kiln following your investment's schedule.
4. Cast & finish
Pour your metal (silver, bronze or brass), break out the casting, cut the sprue, then file and polish. A local casting house can handle the burnout and pour if you don't have a kiln.
